We went on our first ever camping trip earlier this week!
We didn't venture too far, just in case we didn't take keenly to the 'outdoor life' and only planned to stay for one night. However, we had a really great time and ended up staying an extra night!
This last weekend has been very busy! Went to see Peter, Erinn and Ailsa on Saturday! Was great to see them all again! One day we even make it over to Ohio to return the visit!
Then on Sunday it was down to Kirriemuir for our friend's little girl's birthday party. Spent most of Monday morning recovering from said birthday party! :)
Today, I was helping out with the Nursery Picnic. A half hour bus journey to a lovely little park. Was really good fun! All the little one's had a great time!
Once more, Mophead's school sports have had to be cancelled due to this rubbish weather. So far it's been cancelled three times. Hopefully it may go ahead tomorrow, but I don't think anyone is holding their breath.
On the upside, she does have another Birthday party this afternoon!
Dustbunny is feelling much better, although she's still off Nursery. Her temperatiure is down and she's almost back to her normal bouncy self again - very different to the poor thing she was on Tuesday.
Mophead now has a big front toothy gap :)
Once more, the Tooth Fairy was most generous!

Anyway - jumping right back into things!
We all had quite a busy weekend. On Saturday we went to the beach - was cold but nice and sunny.
On Sunday Mophead had a little 4-aside football match at a local park. She's recently changed from her old Saturday morning football sessions to a Monday evening. It's actually a lot better since it's only girls and I think she finds it a little less intimidating. After that, we had a nice lunch at the Garden Centre in the park. Also in the park there is a great little petting zoo, which they loved and a great playpark.
So, it was a very busy and lovely weekend!
And I remembered to post about it!!!!
Oh dear - I haven't been very good at keeping mine so far have I? What did I say? "I'm going to keep my blog up to date!!"
So, 22 days later, I finally get round to doing a post!
Everything is back to normal again.
Mophead and Dustbunny are back at school and nursery.
The house is still a serious mess.
I'm totally unorganized.

The Plan
06:00 - Alarm goes off. Mummy leaps joyfully out of bed. Makes coffee and has a quiet half hour gradually coming awake and getting her head together whilst watching TV.
06:30 - Mummy has a nice peaceful shower and gets ready.
07:15 - Downstairs again and gets the breakfasts ready. Gathers all the backpacks/homework folders/Nursery backpacks together checking everything needed is in them.
07:30 - Gently wake up Mophead, Dustbunny. Guide them happily downstairs to their breakfasts.
08:00 - DopeyDaddy and Mummy get Moppy and Dustbunny ready for school/Nursery.
08:30 - Coats, shoes and backpacks on ready to leave the house.
09:00 - Wave a cheery bye-bye to Mophead as she goes into school.
09:05 - Drop off Dustbunny at Nursery with a happy hug.
CONLUSION: A PERFECT MORNING
The Reality
06:00 - Alarm goes off. Mummy groans, turns off alarm.
06:18 - Mummy leaps up realizing she has fallen back to sleep again.
06:20 - Mophead and Dustbunny wake up and demand something to eat.
06:45 - Mummy admits defeat on getting the Toddler's back to bed and blunders zombie-like around the kitchen wondering where all the breakfasts things have gone.
07:05 - Mophead gets fed up waiting and gets breakfasts ready herself.
07:15 - Mummy finally blunders into the shower.
07:45 - Mophead appears with the news that Dustbunny has dropped her breakfast all over the kitchen floor.
07:50 - Dustbunny appears wailing 'Brekky on floor!'
07:52 - Everyone spots alarmingly
L:ARGE spider scuttling over the floor. Mummy grabs
children and runs screaming from the
room thus ruining several years of avoiding exposure and potential
transference of phobias.
07:50 - Nervously searches under
computer desk for sign of Gigantic Mutated Spider using
Mummy's Amy's toy Sonic Screwdriver
(well it was the only light source available
hand at the time...)
08:00 - Realizes Mophead has not done
last night's homework. Rushes around house finding
homework bag.
08:15 - Combined effort by DopeyDaddy
and Mummy to get the Toddlers to stop running
wildly around the house playing
'Catch the Toddler'.
08:45 - Finally leave the house in various states of dishevelment and proceed to School/Nursery.
08:50 - Try to clean off Dustbunny who thought it would be a good idea to sit in a muddy puddle.
09:00 - A hasty wave at Mophead's retreating back as I go off in chase of Dustbunny again.
09:05 - Finally see Dustbunny rushing headlong into her Nursery class in glee.
CONCLUSION: A PERFECT, WONDERFUL MORNING!
